Compounding 4 Vet is a trading name of Optimum Care Pharmacy Services Pty Ltd (ABN 57 630 546 584), 5/105A Vanessa Street, Kingsgrove NSW 2208.
We supply compounded veterinary medicines to registered veterinary practices and registered veterinarians only. Prescription medicines are dispensed solely against a valid prescription or written order issued by a registered veterinarian under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966 (NSW) and the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008 (NSW).
Orders for prescription medicines cannot be dispatched until we have received and verified a compliant prescription. Where a prescription is outstanding, incomplete or unclear, we will contact the prescribing veterinarian before dispensing, and this may affect the delivery timeframe.
A confirmation email showing that we have received your order is sent automatically once you have completed checkout. This confirms receipt of the order — it is not confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched.
Once your order has been accepted and any required prescription has been verified, your order will be dispatched by the next business day, subject to our compounding capacity and the availability of ingredients.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in New South Wales.
Estimated delivery time within Australia is approximately 1 to 10 business days from the date payment is received and the order is accepted.
Estimated times are a guide only and depend on your location and the availability of ingredients. While we endeavour to fulfil all orders in full, some items, packaging or devices may not be available at the time of dispatch. Where an item is unavailable, you will not be charged for it, or you will be refunded for it if payment has already been taken.
We use reasonable efforts to deliver within the estimated timeframe but do not guarantee delivery within it. If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us on 1300 345 877.
We ship to Australian postal addresses only. We do not ship internationally.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we deliver to the Australian address shown on your order confirmation. We recommend delivery to the veterinary practice address wherever possible.
Orders are dispatched using Australia Post Express Post.
If nobody is available to take delivery, the carrier will leave a card so you can arrange collection. If a re-delivery fee is charged to us, we reserve the right to pass that cost on at our discretion.
Where you nominate a recipient other than yourself, you accept that a signature by a person identifying themselves as that recipient at the delivery address is evidence of delivery to you and of fulfilment by us.
Title and risk of loss in all products passes to you on delivery.
Shipping is charged on the basis of the packaging options available through Australia Post. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
We may offer limited-time free shipping promotions from time to time at our discretion.
After your order has been dispatched, a confirmation email containing a tracking number is sent to the email address you provided. You can track the status of your delivery using the carrier's website, which is linked in that email.
It may be possible to change or cancel your order if compounding has not yet commenced in our laboratory. Because compounded medicines are prepared individually for a specific animal patient, once compounding has commenced an order cannot be cancelled or changed.
